Satya Scholarship Program 2025 Applications Open

The Nehru Sidhant Kender Trust has reaffirmed its commitment to social equity by launching a merit-cum-means scholarship program aimed at transforming the educational journey of deserving students from Ludhiana district. With a strong focus on empowering girl students and underprivileged youth, the Satya Scholars program offers full tuition support for undergraduate and integrated master’s degrees in Commerce, Engineering, and Medical fields at select institutions in Ludhiana.

SCHOLARSHIP TO SUPPORT DREAMS, REMOVE BARRIERS

The scholarship, named in honor of Satya — symbolizing truth and commitment — is designed to bridge financial gaps and inspire young minds to pursue quality higher education with confidence and dignity. Covering 100% of tuition fees as per the respective institute’s fee structure, the initiative reflects the Trust's long-standing vision to promote inclusive academic access.

WHO CAN APPLY?

Applicants must be Indian citizens who have completed their Class 12 board exams from a school in Ludhiana district with a minimum of 60% marks. The family income should not exceed 5 lakh per annum. In case of orphaned students, the guardian's income is considered. Eligible students should be enrolled in 35 year undergraduate or integrated masters programs in BBA, BCom, BTech, BE, B.Arch, BSc (Engineering), BCA, MBBS, BDS, BPT, BSc (Nursing), or BSc (Paramedics) from specified colleges/universities in Ludhiana.

INCLUSIVE AND HOLISTIC APPROACH

Preference will be given to girl students, persons with disabilities, orphans, children of single parents, and athletes with state, national, or international achievements. To retain the scholarship, recipients must maintain at least 75% attendance, demonstrate good conduct, and secure a minimum of 60% or a 6 GPA annually.

ADDITIONAL SUPPORT AND LONG-TERM VISION

In cases where the scholar is required to stay in a hostel as per institute norms, hostel and mess charges may also be considered by the Trust. Importantly, once employed, scholars are encouraged to voluntarily support the education of at least one student, thereby fostering a sustainable chain of educational empowerment.

DEADLINE AND DOCUMENTATION

Applications must be submitted by 31st July 2025, along with necessary documents including Aadhaar, income proof, admission letter, and a Statement of Purpose.
This initiative is more than a scholarship — it’s a commitment to building a brighter future, one scholar at a time.
