Karnataka Students Welfare Society Scholarship Program 2025-26 Applications Open

The Karnataka Students Welfare Society Scholarship Program 2025-26 stands as a beacon of hope for South Indian students striving for higher education. Orchestrated by the Karnataka Students Welfare Trust, the scholarship program is designed to offer substantial financial support to deserving students from Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu after high school—helping them pursue their academic ambitions and transform personal aspirations into reality.

Purpose and Vision

This initiative aims to bridge financial barriers that might otherwise prevent talented youth from accessing college education. By lessening economic hurdles, the program empowers students to focus on their studies, develop professionally, and contribute meaningfully to society.

Who is Eligible?

To qualify for the Karnataka Students Welfare Society Scholarship Program 2025-26, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Indian citizenship is mandatory.
  • Must be a resident of Karnataka, Kerala, or Tamil Nadu.
  • Should have passed the 12th board/Pre-University Course (PUC) examination with at least 60% marks.
  • Must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment as a full-time student in an accredited college, university, or institute of higher education.

Scholarship Benefits

Selected students are eligible for a financial award ranging from 10,000 to 1,00,000. The exact amount and duration are determined by the scholarship committee based on individual merit and need. Scholarship funds are remitted directly to the educational institution to cover tuition and associated academic expenses, ensuring the award is effectively utilized for its intended purpose.

The continuation of the scholarship is contingent on the recipient’s satisfactory academic progress. It may be revoked if academic or behavioral standards are not upheld, or the student withdraws from their enrolled program.

Required Documents

Applicants must submit:

  • Transcripts: Latest mark sheets or certificates from the last qualifying examination.
  • Residency proof: Official documentation confirming home state.
  • Enrollment proof: Evidence such as admission letters or fee receipts from the accredited institution.

Application and Selection Process

  • Deadline: Applications must be submitted by 30 August 2025.
  • The selection panel evaluates candidates on several fronts, including academic performance, extracurricular achievements, demonstrated leadership skills, and the quality of their personal statement or essay.
  • The committee’s decision regarding scholarship recipients is final and binding; no appeals will be entertained.
