Kotak Junior Scholarship Program 2025-26 Applications Open

 

The Kotak Junior Scholarship Program 2025–26, an initiative by Kotak Education Foundation (KEF)—the CSR arm of Kotak Mahindra Group—is a transformative step towards enabling deserving students to pursue their higher secondary education without financial constraints. This scholarship is designed for students who have completed their Class 10 (SSC/CBSE/ICSE) in 2025 from schools located in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR).



FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

The scholarship offers INR 3,500 per month for 21 months (from Class 11 to Class 12), amounting to a total of INR 73,500. This fund supports various academic expenses, including tuition fees, books, stationery, travel, and more. The amount will be disbursed on a quarterly or half-yearly basis, ensuring sustained support throughout the student’s junior college journey.

BEYOND FINANCIAL SUPPORT: HOLISTIC DEVELOPMENT

Apart from monetary benefits, selected students will gain access to:

  • Mentorship Support: Personalized guidance to navigate their educational journey

  • Exposure Visits: Field visits and sessions to broaden students’ understanding of the world

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Students must meet the following criteria to apply before the 30th June 2025 deadline:

  • Secured 85% or above in Class 10 (SSC/CBSE/ICSE) in 2025
  • Admitted to Class 11 in Arts, Commerce, or Science streams in the MMR region
  • Annual family income must not exceed INR 3,20,000
  • Reside within the MMR area
  • Children of KEF and Buddy4Study employees are not eligible

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

Applicants must provide:

  • Class 10 marksheet
  • Income certificate (FY 2025-26)
  • Aadhar Cards of student and parents
  • PAN card of an earning parent
  • Recent passport-size photo
  • School leaving certificate
  • Student’s bank account details
  • (Optional) IT return/Form 16, death certificate (if applicable)
