The Kotak Kanya Scholarship
2025 is a collaborative Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative by
Kotak Mahindra Group companies and the Kotak Education Foundation, aimed at
promoting inclusive education and sustainable livelihoods among economically
disadvantaged sections of Indian society. The primary objective of this
scholarship is to empower academically talented girl students from low-income
families to pursue professional education after Class 12, thereby enabling them
to secure brighter futures.
Under this scholarship
program, eligible girl students who have completed their Class 12 board
examinations and secured admission to professional graduation courses like Engineering,
MBBS, Integrated LLB (5 Years), Integrated BS-MS/BS-Research (at prestigious
institutions such as IISER, IISC Bangalore), or other professional programs in Architecture,
Design, etc., will receive financial assistance of up to ₹1.5
lakh per year. This amount will support them throughout the duration of their
degree program.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Open to meritorious girl students across
India.
- Must have scored 75% or above in Class
12 board examinations.
- Annual family income should be less than
₹6,00,000.
- Must have secured admission in the
academic year 2025-26 to a reputed NAAC/NIRF-accredited institute offering
professional degrees.
The deadline to apply for
the Kotak Kanya Scholarship is 31st August 2025.
BENEFITS
- Up to ₹1.5
lakh per year per scholar until the completion of her course.
- Scholarship amount covers academic
expenses, including tuition fees, hostel fees, books, internet charges,
transportation, laptops, and other necessary educational supplies.

- Bonafide student certificate from
college

- Disability certificate (if applicable)
- Death certificate of parent (for
single-parent/orphan cases)
