The Muskaan Scholarship
Program 2.0 (2025–26) is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative by Valvoline
Cummins Private Ltd. (VCPL) aimed at supporting the educational journey of
underprivileged students in India. This program specifically benefits children
of commercial drivers (LMV/HMV), mechanics, and students from the Economically
Weaker Sections (EWS) category. By reducing financial stress, it helps ensure uninterrupted
education for students in Classes 9 to 12 across southern, eastern, and
northeastern states of the country.
To qualify for the Muskaan
Scholarship Program, students must meet the following conditions:
- Be enrolled in Classes 9 to 12.
- Belong to southern, eastern, or
northeastern states such as Assam, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal,
Kerala, Jharkhand, Andhra Pradesh, and others.
- Come from one of the following
categories:
- Children of commercial drivers
(LMV/HMV)
- Children of mechanics
- Students from EWS families
- Have scored above 60% marks in their
last academic session.
- Total family income should not exceed
INR 8 lakh per annum.
- Deadline for application submission:
30th September 2025
BENEFITS OFFERED
The Muskaan Scholarship
provides the following key benefits to selected students:
- A scholarship grant of up to INR 12,000,
based on actual academic expenses.
- Mentorship support, including sessions
on important topics such as Road Safety, personal development, and goal
setting.
This combination of
financial and emotional support fosters confidence, discipline, and a strong
foundation for academic growth.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
Applicants need to submit
the following documents:
- Aadhaar Card (Proof of identity)
- Admission proof for the current academic
year (fee receipt/admission letter/institution ID/bonafide certificate)
- Previous year’s marksheet, duly signed
and stamped
- Proof of parent’s profession (choose
one):
- Commercial Driving License (for
drivers)
- Shramik Card
- Employer confirmation or attested
self-declaration letter
- Income proof (choose one):
- Certificate from Gram Panchayat/Ward
Counselor/Sarpanch
- Certificate from SDM/DM/CO/Tehsildar
- Last three months’ salary slips or
Income Tax Return
- Applicant’s bank account details
- A passport-size photograph
