The NextGen Edu
Scholarship Program 2025-26, launched by EY Global Delivery Services (EY GDS),
stands as a laudable initiative focused on empowering meritorious students from
financially challenged backgrounds in India. This scholarship directly
addresses the pressing issue of student dropouts after Class 10, a crucial
juncture in a young person's academic journey, by providing much-needed
financial assistance and fostering educational continuity.
Mission and Vision
The core mission of the
NextGen Edu Scholarship is to make quality education accessible,
regardless of socio-economic constraints. By targeting students at the
transition from secondary to higher secondary education, the program seeks not
only to support individual growth and aspirations but also to contribute toward
collective societal progress through the creation of a more educated, skilled,
and empowered generation.
Who Can Apply?
To ensure the scholarship
reaches those most in need and with demonstrated merit, the eligibility
criteria are as follows:
- The applicant must be currently
enrolled in Class 11 in any government or private school across
India.
- A minimum score of 60% in Class 10 is
required.
- The annual family income from all
sources should not exceed ₹3 lakh.
- While the scheme welcomes applicants
nationwide, preference is given to students from Karnataka, Delhi
NCR, Maharashtra, Telangana, West Bengal, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu.
- In keeping with inclusivity, girls,
children of single parents, transgender individuals, orphans, and persons
with disabilities are especially encouraged to apply.
- Children of employees from Buddy4Study
and EY GDS are not eligible.
Scholarship Benefits
- Each selected student will receive financial
aid of ₹15,000 for the academic year.
- The amount can be used to cover both
academic fees and living expenses, helping students focus on studies
without worrying about financial hardships.
Application Essentials
Applicants must ensure they
have the following ready:
- Proof of enrollment in Class 11.
- Marksheet for Class 10 showing at least
60% marks.
- Family income proof.
- Any supportive documents if applying
through a special category (e.g., disability certificate, single parent
certificate, etc.).
Last Date to Apply
- Applications must be submitted by
10-September-2025.
