The Gandhi Fellowship
2025-27 is an initiative of the Piramal Foundation (NGO) designed for graduates
and postgraduate students. The fellowship aims to measure the holistic
development and growth of each fellow while building and strengthening their
leadership qualities. The selected candidates will receive a stipend of ₹24,500
per month, inclusive of all expenses depending on the location.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To be eligible, an applicant
must:
- Be between 18 to 26 years of age
- Be an achiever in academics and
extracurricular activities (Sports, NCC, NSS, voluntary work, performing
arts, debate, literature, etc.)
- Be sensitive towards the pressing
problems of the nation
- Hold a graduate or postgraduate degree
from any of the following diverse streams:

BENEFITS
- A stipend of ₹24,500
per month, inclusive of all expenses depending on the location.
- ₹7,000 per month of the
total stipend will be retained as an interest-free reserve amount. This
cumulative reserve amount will be paid at the end of the term upon
successful completion of the fellowship.
- The cumulative grant can be used to kickstart
a social enterprise, pursue international learning exposure, or fund
specialized higher studies aligned with their aspirations.
