The Indus Towers Scholarship
Program 2025-26 is an inclusive educational initiative driven by the Corporate
Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts of Indus Towers Ltd., formerly Bharti
Infratel Ltd. Implemented by the Shishu Sarothi Centre for Rehabilitation and
Training, this scholarship program is dedicated to supporting the educational
aspirations of students with disabilities across India. By providing financial
assistance, the program aims to remove barriers for differently-abled students
and encourage them to pursue academic and vocational excellence.
Purpose and Eligibility
The scholarship targets
Indian nationals who have a benchmark disability of at least 40%, certified
through an official disability certificate. Applicants must be between 14 and
40 years of age as of June 1, 2025. The program supports students who are pursuing
a wide range of courses, including vocational and skill development,
certificate programs, coaching for employment-oriented competitive exams,
higher secondary education, diplomas, graduation, and postgraduate courses.
To qualify, students must
have passed their Class 10 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 45%
marks or equivalent CGPA. Additionally, the program focuses on candidates from
economically disadvantaged backgrounds, specifically those belonging to the
Below Poverty Line (BPL) or Economically Weaker Section (EWS) categories, with
an annual family income not exceeding ₹8,00,000.
Scholarship Benefits
Selected candidates are
awarded a scholarship up to a maximum of ₹25,000,
which covers critical academic expenses such as admission fees, tuition fees,
and examination fees. Importantly, the scholarship amount is disbursed directly
to the respective educational institution on behalf of the student. This
financial support enables disabled students to continue their education without
being hindered by monetary challenges.

several documents to complete the scholarship application process, including:
- Valid government-issued ID (Voter ID,
Passport, or Driving License).
- A certified disability certificate to
confirm the level of disability.

Selection Process
The selection committee
considers academic performance and verifies all eligibility criteria, with

Around 100 scholarships are awarded annually to deserving applicants nationwide.
The provisional merit list is published on the official Indus Towers
Scholarship Program website, and selected candidates are required to submit an
