Schaeffler India has
launched the HOPE Engineering Scholarship 2025, a thoughtful initiative aimed
at supporting female engineering students from economically weaker backgrounds,
including those with disabilities (PwD). This program is designed to remove
financial barriers and help talented young women pursue engineering education
confidently and independently.
The scholarship provides financial
assistance of INR 50,000 to deserving first-year female engineering students
from across India, enabling them to manage academic expenses and focus on their
studies. In addition to the monetary support, selected scholars will have the
unique opportunity to be mentored by 35 Schaeffler India professionals over a six-month
period, offering them guidance, industry insights, and career-building advice.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Open to female students across India who
are enrolled in the first year of an engineering program at any state or
UGC-recognised college.
- Preference is given to students with
disabilities (PwD) and those from economically disadvantaged families.
- Applicants must have secured at least
60% marks in Class 12 (Science stream) during the academic year 2024–25.
However, for PwD candidates, a minimum of 40% marks is acceptable.
- The annual family income of the
applicant must not exceed INR 5,00,000.
- Preference will be given to students
pursuing the following engineering disciplines:
- Computer Science and Engineering
- Information Technology
- Electrical and Electronics
- Electronics and Communication
- Mechanical
- Production
- Instrumentation
- Mechatronics
- Automobile
- Children of Schaeffler India or
Buddy4Study employees are not eligible to apply.

- Aadhaar Card

- Bank passbook
- Class 10 and 12 mark sheets
- Admission letter for the engineering
program
- Latest fee receipt from the institution
